STUDENT MINISTRY
STUDENT MINISTRY
At Fairview Baptist Church, our vision for the Student Ministry is no different than that of the church.
As such, our core values for our Student Ministry simply model those we set forth for all disciples of Jesus Christ at Fairview. We desire to be a church that exhibits Gospel Transformation, Loving Community, and Missional Living as described in Acts 2:41-47. This greatly impacts the way we approach our Student Ministry efforts.
GOSPEL TRANSFORMATION: Because we are a church family that focuses on heart transformation and character growth by applying the gospel to all of life, we avoid heaping behavioral modification on the young souls in our care. Rather, we seek to put Christ and His gospel at the center of everything we do in Student Ministry at Fairview.
LOVING COMMUNITY: Because we are a church family that loves one another in a way that reflects the power of the gospel, we hope to lovingly partner with parents in bringing up a generation of culture-shaping students, rather than students who are shaped by culture.
MISSIONAL LIVING: Because we are a church family that defines our lives by mission in all that we do both here and worldwide, we aspire to see a Student Ministry that is Kingdom-expanding, and not simply ministry-building.
Our aim is to partner with parents in making disciples of their students and to build on the discipleship that is happening in the home.

SUNDAY MORNING LIFE GROUPS
Students 6th-12th grade come together in Life Groups to study God's Word, apply it in community, and to pray for one another. Student Life Groups are age and gender specific and meet on Sunday mornings from 9 AM to 10:15 AM. See the list of Life Groups here.
WEDNESDAY NIGHT at 6:30 PM
Students 6th-12th grade come together each Wednesday night from 6:30 PM to 7:45 PM for Equip classes. Students meet together for a time of teaching before breaking into smaller groups to further discuss and apply the content. Currently, the student Equip class is Old Testament Theology, an overview of the Old Testament's major themes.
MISSION TRIPS, CAMPS, AND EVENTS
Fairview Students also enjoy camps, retreats, and other activities. For a current list of this year's events, please contact us.
