MEMBERSHIP

To connect with the people of Fairview, the first and best way is through membership. At the core, a church is not a group of programs, but a local embassy of Christ's kingdom that loves one another (1 John 4:7) and seeks to make known God's wisdom to the heavens (Eph. 3:10). At the membership class, you will learn all about covenant membership at Fairview Baptist Church where we will cover Fairview's beliefs, covenant, mission, and life together. These classes occur on the last Sunday of every other month. Here are the steps toward covenant membership at Fairview:

PLAN YOUR FIRST VISIT

We'll get your family information entered into our system. We'll have your child's security tags waiting for you when you arrive. || Classes begin at 9am for all children birth-5th grade. || Children K-5th should be picked up from their classroom after their class to attend service with their parents.

FIRST VISIT

CLASSES & GROUPS

During the first hour on Sunday morning, we hold a handful of classes on rotation that seek to equip people for all of life from all walks of life. They cover several areas such as bible, theology, apologetics, evangelism & discipleship, and applied theology. The format of each class is designed in such a way that attendees not only receive instruction but also, conisder the practical implication of the various topics and are equipped to apply their beliefs to each sphere of their lives. 

 

While most of our small groups meet in homes throughout the week, some groups meet on Sunday mornings. The ministry of small groups is important because they are the setting where we live in the light together and help one another to heaven.
