EQUIP CLASSES
EQUIP CLASSES
WHAT ARE EQUIP CLASSES?
Our church members need good foundations to grow. Through the Equip Classes, we are offering a series of classes to church members so that they exhibit a faith that seeks understanding.
Equip classes are a series of 8-12 week courses designed to train the church to make disciples of Jesus Christ. They cover several areas such as biblical theology, systematic theology, and applied theology. The format of each course is designed in such a way that course members not only receive instruction but also, consider the practical implication of the various topics and are equipped to apply their beliefs to each sphere of their lives.
Thomas Brooks once said “the power of religion and godliness lives, thrives, or dies as closet prayer lives, thrives, or dies.” Perhaps no practice is more urgent for today’s Christians than the practice of prayer. Yet, in our experience of prayer, we find ourselves overwhelmed with the day’s tasks, distracted by our wandering minds, or stumbling in our speech because of sin. How can we renew our understanding and see prayer the way God designed as the air of our Christian existence? In this equip class, we will consider the biblical principles, theological formulations, and practical applications for a Christian doctrine of humanity. You can find the class overview here.
